Maintenance Log 2025

  • New batteries in weather station 2/8

  • Weather Station started loosing power 3/8. Nightly outages and starting back up during the day. Contacted their support team and requested a replacement. Put in new batteries on 3/16. Unit work for 20 minutes then stoped working again. Still waiting for response from support team.

  • 3/17 ordered new weather station to replace broken one. Generous donation of $150 from club member to cover some of the $220 cost. One it arrives we will swap it out and still try to get support to fix the old unit to have as a backup.

  • 3/21 Replaced with new unit and new batteries. Fixed

  • 5/6 Wireless receiver has stopped working. Been seeing spotty service recently. It is due to salt air damage. We ordered a new receiver that should arrive on Monday next week. We need to get access to the bathroom closet to fix this so it is difficult to coordinate with State Parks.

  • 8/22/25 Replaced batteries in weather station. Installed new wind sock. Removed old anemometer.

  • 11/28/25 Cleaned all contacts on weather station.

  • 12/3/25 Renewed website certificate causing outage

  • 3/19/26 Weather Station mount was somehow damaged like it had been pulled on by a rope. Bracket was fixed. Unit cleaned and new batteries installed.
